Royal Jelly is the cloudy substance produced by worker bees to provide valuable nutrients to the queen bee and to the bee larvae within the bee hive. Comvita Royal jelly is produced by the bees through the combination of honey and bee pollen with enzymes by the worker bees. Comvita Royal Jelly is collected from the queen cells within the beehive,where there is ample storage of royal jelly.
It is possible for a hive to produce a large amount of royal jelly per season. Comvita Royal jelly contains proteins, amino acids and simple sugars plus fatty acids, vitamin B, vitamin C and various enzymes. Royal jelly, is a nutritious food high in broad spectrum vitamins and amino acids and enzymes.
Comvita Royal Jelly supports the blood lipid levels and has antiseptic qualities. It is used in both oral medications for it's nutrition and body benefit and topical creams, where the high vitamin , and amino acid content provides support for the skin.
Those who are allergic to honey products, bee pollen or conifers and poplars, should not use Royal jelly.
