Description
Voltaren rapid is useful for short term treatment of acute painful and inflammatory conditions such as sprains and strains, bruises, back pain, neck pain, migraine headache, period pain and postoperative pain.

The normal dose for Adults is 2 Voltaren rapid tablets, then 1-2 tablets eight hourly if required, maximum six tablets (150mg) daily.
For Migraine take 2 Voltaren rapid Tablets followed by a further 1 to 2 Tablets after 2 hours.
Do not exceed 6 Tablets in 24 hours.
Children over 14 years 1 Voltaren rapid tablet three times daily.
Take all doses with food.
Warnings
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient, peptic ulcer. Patients in whom attacks of asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis are precipitated by aspirin or other NSAIDs.
Precautions: Cardiac, renal or hepatic impairment, asthma, the elderly, pregnancy (especially last trimester), lactation.
Patients experiencing dizziness or CNS disturbances should not drive or operate machinery.
Adverse Effects
Because certain precautions have to be taken with Voltaren rapid, as a Pharmacist Only preparation, we will e mail you a question sheet requesting the names of any medication you are on and outlining the possible irritation to the stomach which may occur if this is taken on an empty stomach.A Pharmacist will review your answers before the product is dispatched.
