General Ways to use Oils:
Tissue or Handkerchief
1 2 drops on handkerchief and sniff as required.
Vapour Inhalation:
2 3 drops in bowl of hot water and breathe vapor for about 1 minute through nose.
Massage Oil :
As directed or a maximum of 5 drop per 10mls of Carrier oil and massage.
Bath:
Up to 8 drops in a warm bath. Agitate water well before bathing.
Cleaning:
1 or 2 drops in vaccuum cleaner exhaust. 1 or 2 drops on a cold light bulb withh scent the air. 6 drops of lemon or lime to rinse aid compartment of dishwasher.
Sauna:
Use 2 drops in 600ml of water. Use Eucalyptus, Tea Tree or Pine oils as these are all excellent cleansers/detoxifiers.
Shower:
8 drops onto a face cloth or loofah and briskly rub body
Foot Bath/Spa:
2 - 6 drops. Soak feet in warm water for approx 20 mins.
Candles:
1-2 drops of essential oil in molten wax. Oils are flammable so avoid contact with wick and flame.
Diffusers:
6 drops. Electric diffusers require neat oil ie do not mix with water.
Humidifiers
1-9 drops into humidifier water or into the filter of a dehumidifier.
Radiators
1-9 drops mixed into a cotton wool ball. Lodge between radiator fins.
Room Misters/Spray:
4-6 drops with 300ml water in a plant sprayer. Add warm water and shake well before use. Avoid contact with wood and furnishings.
Wood Fires :
1drop per log. Cypress, Pine, Sandalwood or Cedarwood are perfect oils to use.
Adverse Effects
Can cause drowsiness or dizziness in large doses. Can cause skin sensitivity. Do not use if pregnant.
