Active Ingredients

Proctosedyl ointment contains Hydrocortisone 5mg and Cinchocaine hydrochloride 5mg per gram of Ointment.

Dosage

First wash your hands and if the affected area is on the surface apply Proctosedyl Ointment with your Finger with just enough ointment to cover the area.

If you need to apply the ointment deeper first screw on the plastic nozzle then gently insert the nozzle all the way into the rectum and squeeze the tube from the lower end while at the same time withdrawing it from the Rectum.

Note that if the Rectum is very inflamed and painful, it is adviseable to initially apply the ointment with the Finger rather than apply with the nozzle.

Warnings

Proctosedyl may cause a transient burning sensation in the Anal area occasionally.

Do not use in the presence of Infection.

Protosedyl is not recommended in Children under 2 years.

Prolonged or severe Rectal pain or bleeding should be checked by a Doctor.
