This formula increases gut transit time so that food takes longer to pass through the gastrointestinal tract.

It also allows the bowel time to absorb water and produce a more solid stool.

Diamide is used to treat patients with sudden (acute) or long-lasting (chronic) diarrhoea.

Active Ingredients

Each capsule contains Loperamide HCI 2mg

Dosage

Adult: 2 capsules initially, then 1 capsule after each unformed stool. Daily dosage should not exceed 8 capsules. Do not use for children under 12 years.

Warnings

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Diamide. If diarrhoea persists for more than 48 hours, consult your doctor. Contains lactose and is gluten free.
